As an Engineering Manager, you lead two or more product development teams, coach and grow your engineers into a tight-knit, fast-paced delivery unit. You own the product engineering process end to end from idea to production throughout the entire organization. You have full people and management responsibility.

attract, recruit and hire talented Engineers and ensure they get up to speed.
work together with your Lead Engineers to align with other engineering teams and drive technical or organizational solutions for cross-cutting problems.

Bring experience in leading multi-disciplinary and multi-culture teams.

You have a deep understanding of agile and lean processes and take end-2-end responsibility.
Have a good understanding of modern information technology and feel comfortable in working within our overall Tech Stack: Docker, Microservices, Ruby, Grape, Golang, Elixir, Phoenix, React.js, MySQL, Postgres, Redis, Concourse, Github, Prometheus, AWS.
Prefer to prove your ideas by trying them out and measuring their impact. You accept failure is a vital part of that process.

Have a strong will and ability to learn fast and you are able to explain complex matters to different audiences.
Are fluent in English, German is a plus.
